PORTLAND - Alan D. Joiner, 48, of Wordsworth Street, passed away on January 9, 2010 at his home. He was born in Germany a son of James and Ulrike (Gritzky) Joiner. Alan was a Miami Dolphins fan and loved the Red Sox. Alan was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved to work in the garden, sit out back on the patio with family, friends and every neighborhood dog. He also enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and going out on Rob's boat. He is survived by his father of Florida; his mother of Virginia; his wife, Terry L. Joiner of Portland; two brothers, Stephan Joiner and his wife Christine of Florida, Christopher Joiner of Virginia; nephews, Christopher and Jonathan; uncle, Donald Joiner and his wife Betty of Florida. He also leaves behind his beloved cats, Zoe and Sophie, and his dog Ebby.
