Pre-Planning Your Funeral
Presented by
Jim Fernald
Past President of the Maine Funeral Directors Association
(207) 942-8815

Being a fifth generation funeral director, Jim is aware of the awesome responsibility to the client families served. The role of the funeral home is to complete services desired by the family in a dignified, compassionate and professional manner-every time. It is important during a funeral homes brief time with a family to connect with their needs and desires and to complete a fitting tribute to their loved one that is both personal and dignified. Funeral directors see their role as educators about the many options that may be available to the client. Funeral directors also believe preplanning should be done where a family can make good decisions during a time that is not as emotional.
